Our new customer, Prinova, is a leading global supplier of ingredients and premix manufacturing solutions for the food, beverage and nutrition industries. Prinova holds strategic stocks in 35+ centres around the world to ensure continuity of supply and has liquid and dry premix manufacturing facilities in the UK, China and the USA. Prinova's premix business is underpinned by over 40 years of experience in ingredient sourcing and distribution, servicing customers with global inventories, market expertise, and leading market positions in vitamins, amino acids, sweeteners, preservatives, proteins, aroma chemicals, and more.
The sales manager will grow and develop the business with the objective of establishing new customers and industries allied to Prinova Europe.
Sales Manager (m/f/d) Germany
Tasks
- Setting the sales objectives
- Building and nurturing customer relationships
- Achievement of sales figures, profitability, and account results within the assigned accounts, territory, or market segments
- Manage the day-to-day business by closely cooperating with the internal departments (Accounting, Product Management, Sales Assistance, Logistics, and Quality) to provide support and technical information to customers, resolve claims and debt collections
- Identification and reporting of market, competition, and industry trends as well as product opportunities
- Looking for potential supply sources for the Prinova group
- Sustain rapport with key accounts by means of periodic visits
- Identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities
- Facilitate growth and development with new and existing customers within the assigned territory or market segments
- Perform initial research as needed on companies to identify line of business, products, and possible application for our products
Profile
- Strong written and verbal skills and the ability to communicate in a professional and courteous manner. Fluent Business English and German are an essential requirement, additional languages an advantage
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and organisation
- Ability to interact and work cohesively in a team environment
- Ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally
- Strong oral communication skills, the ability to negotiate with others and manage multiple tasks and projects
- Strong computer application skills, mandatory Microsoft Office experience
- Ambition, with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Ability to work on own initiative and mange one’s own time
