We develop, produce and market food and beverage ingredients at ADM WILD. Our portfolio ranges from natural flavors, extracts and colors, beverage bases and fruit preparations to functional ingredients and food service solutions.
Your Responsibilities
- This position is responsible for developing flexitarian solutions using the ADM nutrition product portfolio leading directly to new business wins
- Working closely with the Berlin based product developers, culinary chefs, technologists and flavor creation team, on customer and on internal development projects
- Creation and development of innovation concepts and gold standard recipes, from benchtop to scale-up in our pilot plant; translating flavors, ingredients and consumer trends into successful products
- Creation and development of taste- and functional building blocks formated to customer manufacturing processes; production and shipment of samples for customers as flexitarian blends and finished products
- Using the full potential of PD&A IT systems as SAP, Salesforce and MS Teams, SharePoint etc.
- Maintaining proper sanitation and safety guidelines within labs and work areas
- Support customers with development, prototyping, upscaling, trouble shooting and production process
- Working closely with global teams as PD&A, R&D, business development and product management to align regional and global flexitarian efforts
Your Profile
- Extensive knowledge in development and production of flexitarian systems as vegan or vegetarian meat, fish and cheese analogs
- Deep knowledge of the functionality, taste and appearance of flexitarian systems
- Good understanding of blending ingredients, in particular the dynamics and advantages of combining ingredients
- Knowledge in project management is a plus
- Team player who likes to take initiative and play an active role
- Able to level with (senior) R&D and management teams
- Constructive and strong communicator in a cultural diverse working environment
- Fluent in English, basic in German or willing to learn German
