Our client, Nyetimber, is a leading British luxury brand, and the pioneer of English sparkling wine.
They have expanded their distribution in Europe and are looking for a self-motivated, target driven, resilient individual with excellent interpersonal skills to join the expanding international Sales team to support their new presence on the Germany market as well as their existing markets in Netherlands and Austria.
The regional Sales Manager & Brand Ambassador will be responsible for developing their brand positions within the defined territories by direct contacts and supporting their already existing distributors per market. You will work to achieve pre-agreed Sales budgets and fulfil market strategies each year defined by the Head of Sales International. In addition, to drive key listings, increasing Nyetimber brand awareness for Prestigious On & Off trade in the defined territories through pre-agreed plan created prior year. Your passion for sales and ability to communicate and influence people will be key to your success in this role.
Regional Sales Manager & Brand Ambassador Germany, Austria & Netherlands (m/f/d)
Your Tasks
- Direct on trade and off trade Sales within the defined territories.
- Support distributors within the defined territories
- Develop new listing opportunities within prestigious on & off-trade accounts
- Provide inputs from markets to be implemented in the general strategic development plan to the Head of Sales International
- Increase trial within the defined territories through BTG initiatives, tastings, pairing dinners and other events
- Training program – To support accounts, distributors, and others
- Build a strong network within the top Sommelier community
- Interact and communicate with local Wine Journalists, Press and Media within the defined territories
- Control the distribution and quality of the brand´s visibility in all active channels.
- Work closely with Nyetimber´s marketing department
- Monitor the market (customers, prospects, competition)
Your Profile
- Native in German, excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, other languages are considered an advantage
- At least 3 years’ relevant sales experience in the wine or drinks industry
- Trade network within the territory is considered an advantage
- Demonstrated experience in brand development, including brand positioning and brand building activities
- Wine knowledge
- Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Power BI & social media
- Excellent planning and organizing skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to manage and make best use of relationships at various levels
- Ability to problem solve
- Ability to have a high level of attention to detail
- This role will require the successful individual to travel frequently across the defined territories, with a very strong main focus on Germany. There will be a requirement to occasionally travel to Nyetimber’s Vineyard and London office
